  1. I’m  Legally blind (seriously, can’t see a thing without some type of corrective lenses).
  2. When I lose my glasses, I also lose my hearing, you would think it would be the opposite.
  3. I love to exercise. I’m truly an Exercise fiend. In my previous life, I was Jane Fonda. If I don’t exercise first thing in the morning, I’m not much fun to be with.
  4. I’m a  Hair band groupie. I love the eighties. I have seen Def Leppard and Bon Jovi more times than I like to admit.
  5. My first car was a Toyota Camry aka “the gripper” because of the automatic seat belts.
  6. I hate having my picture taken. I think it is because my mother made me wear those big Easter bonnets growing up.
  7. I’m really shy. I’ve lost some of it with my daughter but I have to take deep breaths when I go somewhere and don’t know a soul.
  8. My nickname in high school was “cheeks.” Not going to tell the story of how it came to be, but needless to say when I go home inevitably someone still calls me that. Also my parents named their dog after me.
  9. If you told me that I was going to live in Birmingham when growing up I would tell you that you were crazy. I never thought I would leave my hometown of Mobile but now twenty years later, here I am.
  10. I have a small group of friends that I’m fiercely loyal to and who have my back as well.
  11. I’ll try almost anything once.
  12. One of my biggest accomplishments was teaching my daughter how to ride a bike when she was young.
  13. I’m a 6th generation lawyer and third female lawyer…on my mother’s side.
  14. I always say I hope I’m as good an attorney as my dad…he’s really good.
  15.  I was the first female partner in my firm.
  16. If I wasn’t a lawyer I would be a sideline reporter for college football.
  17. My husband is an Alabama fan; luckily we don’t have to worry about competition too much although one time he had to choose NYE with me over an Alabama football game. He made the right decision.
  18. I bleed black and gold. Go Vandy!
  19. I once almost burned down our office kitchen popping popcorn. I’m not allowed to use the microwave anymore.
  20. I can’t tell you the number of times I get called Martha Stewart which is really funny to me because it couldn’t be farther from the truth.
